I have traversed through the station many a time when traveling back and forth between my home city and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is also a building of great historical and architectural interest. Union Station is a working station - it serves as the hub for most of Amtrak's routes to/from the Midwest, plus several regional lines and Chicago mass transit.
